A little about Coach Sierra

LYNX Wellness Training has been a dream of mine to hold for quite some time.
My fitness journey began at the age of 12, alongside my mother who instilled in me the importance of mental health through physical activity. Witnessing her dedication, I formed a deep connection with fitness early on. Throughout high school and college, I remained active in athletics while navigating through various management positions in corporate America. However, it wasn’t until 2020 that I realized I had veered off course from prioritizing my health.
Determined to reclaim my well-being, I embarked on a transformative journey, shedding 60 pounds and reigniting my passion for movement and mindfulness. This pivotal experience and the encouragement and guidance of my cousin and best friend, Ashley, led me to pursue certification as a personal trainer through NASM, solidifying my commitment to guiding others on their own path to holistic wellness. Remaining a student of this craft is a lifetime commitment and one I have enjoyed immensely.

My approach to fitness is rooted in mindfulness and holistic well-being. Moving the body moves the mind. I believe in cultivating harmony between physical strength, mental resilience, and emotional and spiritual well-being. By integrating mindful movement, intentional breathing techniques, and personalized training plans, I empower my clients to connect with their bodies on a deeper level, fostering sustainable lifestyle changes that extend far beyond the gym.
With my certifications as a NASM – CPT and Behavioral Change Specialist, my expertise lies in personalized training programs tailored to individual goals and abilities. Whether it’s weight loss, strength training, flexibility, or stress management, I specialize in creating fitness plans that address the unique needs and aspirations of each client.
I am on a mission to create a supportive and inclusive environment where you feel empowered to embrace your journey towards wellness. I prioritize building meaningful connections with each individual, tailoring my approach to their unique needs and aspirations. Accountability is the name of the game with me. My dedication to ongoing education and personal growth ensures that I remain at the forefront of fitness innovation, continually evolving and refining my approach to best serve my clients, family, and friends.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me near the water, spending time with family and my pups. A big part of my own wellness practice includes daily meditation, astrology work (constantly learning more about myself and contributing to the world around me), and a special interest in energy and card reading and a close relationship with powers greater than me. These aspects, apart from regular training, play a central role in my own fitness regimen and inform my approach as a trainer.
